I agree that is is a dangerous assumption to presume that something good for animals is good for humans too, but in this case, pyrantel pamoate is being used for humans ( a product called combantrin ) for pinworms. Given then that it is probably safe for humans to take (though I would n't really want to head to the local feed supplier to get my dosage as suggested in the article that started all of this!) I would like to know how effective the product is against all the parasites discussed on this forum....has anyone else had experience of using pyrantel pamoate? I 'd love to hear more......
