so start a forum for battered husbands - you know, us gals that kick our husbands asses and choke threaten to kill them - us gals that stalk you poor men, and point our fingers in your faces and tell you what a worthless whore you are - you know, us abusive women that beat a man till he has to go to the emergency room and lie as to why he got the concussion - poor guy, no wonder he can't leave - his woman didn't act right and she intimidated him through fear and control and threats until he was so confused that he stayed, thinking that if HE just acted different, or was quieter, or a better cook or lover, that then his violent wife would stop giving him those black eyes, or maybe she won't make him have sex against his will, or maybe she won't run off with the kids - maybe, oh maybe, she will sell that gun that she keeps threatening to shoot him with, and then they can be a happy loving family again...(please note the sarcasm)

My god, man get a friggin grip!!!! What about "you women" who abuse men. I never EVER got to do to a man what they did to me. Although you have a good point - I should not have tried to make it work, and I damn sure should've slit his throat from ear to ear - because I got beat up for :

cooking dinner he didn't like
being on my period and not wanting sex
not wanting anal sex
not folding his jeans with creases on them
hiding a dollar in a jacket pocket (i was allowed no money)
talking to a male friend of his
"looking at" a man
being gone to the store too long
being "uppity" (talking back into his screaming face)
it being thanksgiving ( he loved to kick my ass on thanksgiving - who knows why)
not getting beer fast enough
a show for his friends
ad infinitum

IN OTHER WORDS, NOTHING! I GOT BEAT DAMN NEAR TO DEATH BECAUSE I EXISTED.

Please do me a favor - don't insult and degrade what happened to me by posting that drivel crap on this site - don't you have something better to do, like starting that "battered man" website??

Why don't you TRY to get it. Get information, show some compassion and LEARN why, EDUCATE before you OPINIONATE, THEN judge it.

Until you have been choked by your lover almost to death, until she has taken a penis like object and stuffed it up your butt against your will in the name of "love", until you have been absolutely helpless to stop someone from brutalizing you because you are not physically strong enough, until you have had some one who claims to love you greatly, screaming "I love you, you f**king b*tch" in your face as they are slapping you, you WON'T get it.

Let those of us who have been there at least TRY to help each other, and go find something else to do.
