marilyn - I never did anything. Nothing at all. My dad beat me like your picture, and I went on to men who did the same for years. And I did nothing. Any "noise" I did make was soon silenced by the power and control I thought they had. So I respect you and want to offer you encouragement. I know what "terrified" means to people who have faced what we faced, so I find you brave and strong. So much has been coming to the surface for me lately - I just want to heal - and I do wish I would have done something...
