Go to page 58 and you'll find the threads on brushing w/soap. Springy started one entitled "Soap" and 3/4's of way down I asked the question "Using soap to brush teeth...." and there's a thread w/lots of great info on brushing w/soap. Here's a link to Dr. Judd's data on brushing w/soap:
I started using soap about 2 wks ago now (as well as oil pulling which I began a little over 3 wks ago) and absolutely love it!! My teeth have never felt cleaner after brushing w/soap. Upon awakening in AM, no more "yucky" morning mouth--my mouth and teeth feel as clean as they did prior to sleep. I have been able to eliminate about 3 extra steps from my dental regimen each day as well as all the extra money on those items. When I discovered all the horrors of toothpaste and rinses, etc. I couldn't believe I had been using that poison my entire life! I also have perio issues so I'm quite careful about what I use and since beginning pulling and then brushing w/soap, I've not had one "sensitive" tooth or anything at all going on. I'm giving my new dental regimen 3-4 mos till I make an appointment w/the dentist. I know the results will be more positive than in the past--I can just feel the benefits going on in my mouth, gums and teeth.
Anyway, hope this helps and read the threads on previous pg. esp one posted by MamaCrow as she has been using soap to brush her teeth since childhood and gives some great data.
