Re: I Got Garden Space!!! Advice on Small Garden Plot??

great, thanks both of you.

i found these tomatoes, and they look pretty good. you can buy the transplants and they mature in under 60 days. they say they have bountiful harvest all season long. we are having a VERY mild winter here, i bet i could plant these early May, which means i could have tomatoes by early july! course i'd be risking a frost kill all May long, but it may be worth it.

the black prince look very good, i bet the flavor is quite rich, i may give that a try. thanks for the suggestion.

i have gardened before, but as a kid, so i what i know i know thru absorption.

and yes, there is a lady who sells purple carrots here, i don't know if they are the specific variety you mentioned. but they are excellent. they make a wonderful juice. she also sells purple and black sweet peppers that are fantastic. so i think i will not be planting those.

radishes are an excellent idea. i remember them being great producers and not taking up too much space. i don't think we ever planted squash. but don't the vines take up quite a bit of space?

now, purslane i am not familiar with. does it have a bitter or sweet taste to it?

i am going to build some super powerful soil and grow some fantastic wheatgrass too!

any suggestions on greens?

sorry for so many questions, just pumped up right now.
