Re: serious mystery - peripheral neuropathy despite healthy paleo diet
This morning after rereading your posts about your peripheral neuropathy, I started to think about the problem. You're eating a good diet that in no way should cause diabetes or nerve problems. Then I started to wonder if there is a connection between peripheral neuropathy and heavy metals, because I've been finding that heavy metals are the cause for all types of problems that I have. So I googled peripheral neuropathy + heavy metals and sure enough, there are many choices to look at that link the two. Have you ever had a hair analysis? That might be very interesting. I tried to cure my problems with diet for so many years. I tried so many diets. Nothing worked for longer than a month or two. And then I would come up with worse problems than I had when I started. Clean food isn't and shouldn't be such a problem. Of course, most foods nowadays can have pesticides and metals on them, and some foods are bad for us, but they still shouldn't be causing such severe problems. The detrimental effects of even bad foods are nothing compared to the effects of heavy metals and other actual toxins on our bodies.
See what you think. I would google the sites now, but I have to go to work.
Take care, and I hope you find a solution.
Solutions in 2007 is my goal!
