God Space
I guess there are moments because I have seen the end of the movie that I forget the torment of the in-betweens. This is a problem of being in spiritual mode and not attached to the physical world. The ideal spiritual sojourner would find a way to have compassion for our physical nature and also understand the timelessness of our spiritual nature. I believe this in-between sojourner is the God of this world. His nature is very different from the God who is love that resides in the the after-life. The God of this world straddles both. He metes out rewards and punishments to us in this world and he knows our pain. He uses disease and death as a precursor for entering into a fallen body. He is the author of both. The God of the after-life can only look on love and where love ends...the God of who is love can not follow.
Disease and death are the consequence of our falling from the side of the God who is love. To leave the God of what I call heaven, we must contract with the God of this world and accept death and disease as the inevitable reward for entering a vessel in the physical universe. Disease is just one instrument the God of this world uses to control us. Accidents are another outstanding tool in his bag of tricks to get us to go where he would have us go. Contrary to what one thinks, the spiritual creation of this world who controls disease and accidents would have us be holy and righteous but unlike the God who is love, the God of this world uses fear and time to steer us back into contracts we made before we were born. He will get us so wrapped up in our lives that we will not see the virtual or symbolic train wreck coming on. Only when we have had our train wreck, can some of us get back to the path the still quiet voice of love will lead us down. Some of us are just plain ole' hard headed though. I for one have busted my neck three times and still I am an accident waiting to happen.
There is the easy way...listening to our angels or guides...to help us on the true path we chose before we entered our mothers womb or there is the hard way through the God of this world. Angels or guides are voices we most often hear if we are dealing with health issues or physical safety as the God who is love depends on these guides to help us maneuver our physical body through the mine-fields of life. The God who is love and our angels or guides want us to have perfect health and never would have us have accidents...they whisper to our soul to turn left or right...to go backward or forward...But only when we are still and quiet can we hear the competing voices of our messengers or angels(up to 10,000 at least) over the loudness of this world.
Prayer time or meditation time is something few give themselves until the circumstances are dire and free-will has taken the decision away from us and given it to those that we pray for. Sometimes, we even have competing prayers for ourselves...We may pray for good health and clear paths even as we pray for our own death as we have grown weary of the struggle to live in a physical body. Someone who we love who is in anguish and pain from disease or from accidental injury may be in so much pain that they choose with their own free-will to concede to death. Those competing prayers are at odds.
It is difficult to pray for those whose own prayers are to choose their own death. They have had enough of this world of pain. If they can connect to their spiritual nature though, miracles can happen. The best one can do for those we love if they are committed to their own demise is to find a way to give those we pray for who face struggling with just being alive with the gift of stillness. If we can take care of their physical needs with a warm bed, a healthy meal, a hand to patch the holes in their literal or symbolic roof, or whatever it is that will slow them down long enough to hear from the quiet stillness through their own loud lives.
Prayers or meditation attached to physical actions are ways we can help those who can not help themselves. The God of this world and the next want us to be productive
but I choose to serve the God who is love because helping others from a place of love rather than helping others from a place of fear gives me rewards that survive this life. Serving the God of this world is a mirror of the God who is love though as our every action that serves love also serves our physical nature. We start getting the physical rewards from serving love and physical rewards may start piling up on us until often even the most loving person may be too busy serving the gifts to their physical nature that they once served for love and succumb to fear of losing those gifts. I know it seems a paradox and many may see what I am saying and say that what I am saying is blasphemy...but say it I must. The God of this world is a murderer but when we serve love...he will give you a reward. When you steer away from love...he will also punish you until you serve love again.
I have begun to realize over the years that organized religion most often gives us a dose of both Gods. I for one am very sensitive to the different voices of the two Gods. I have visited the worship places of many faiths but all fall short of hearing straight from the God who is love. I am not suggesting that one leave the type of
worship that they have been led to but rather that one begin to know the difference between the two voices. The murderer's voice will attempt to steer us with fear back into the arms of love while the voice of love is the voice of kindness and joy... Both voices work to the same end but the rewards for allowing the voice of fear to be our personal God is only temporary while the rewards for making loving kindness and joy our personal God survives this world and provides us with good health and is the path of love that is no accident. Fear may have its uses as a kind of intuition but serving love from a quiet still place of joy and kindness is the higher path. I only hope today that I will choose health, joy, kindness....and thereby live in the quiet still place of love- "God Space"
