It seems to me that the "combination" of particular organisms, is the cause of disease. Lane, is able to detect, certain strains of bacteria, and it is the combination of strains, is that, the key ???( he "may" not, yet, be aware of this ? ).

And, having one type of bacteria, or virus etc... may do no real harm (on it's, own.), but, put it with say, strep, and you have disease, big time. Is that how, you, think it goes ?

"Alone", they "may" cause little harm, but, together, they are like a well equiped; ARMY, FORCE !
