Oh my gosh...don't get me wrong. I'm sorry, I don't want you to think that I thought you denied your son medical attention. You absolutely sounded like a caring mother in your post.

The reason for the warning was that...first of all, I've worked in the medical field for 9 years. I guess it's just become the way I think. Secondly, I had an asthma attack a couple years ago. Last words I heard was my daughter saying "mommy, your lips are blue"...Next I knew, I was laying in a hospital bed two days later on a ventilator. It just scared me to think your son's lips were blue.

Ok I'll shut up now.
