Re: Since I'm here...Croup remedy

My 6 year old son has had problems with croup since he was 18 months. Horrible stuff! I don't like to use the word hate, but I HATE croup! Last year, in fact, I had to take him to the after hours clinic twice. Just before Halloween of this year he had croup, but it was one of his mild episodes. I had forgotten my husband had gotten some marjoram and thyme essential oil samples from his boss. The next night my husband remembered and put them on him. No croup. I could hear a little something when he talked in the morning but it sounded like a normal sick person thing. I can count on one hand how many times he has only had croup one night. It always lasts 2-3 nights unless I had to take him to the Dr. My husband ordered some R.C. and we have not had one case of croup since and he has been sick twice. Be careful with the little one because R.C. Has eucalyptus in it. Read up and see if there are any warnings for using marjoram and thyme on a 2 yr. old. I am going to be using R.C. all this winter. If it doesn't work, I will post it. Tweet
