Bush possessing the veto pen is exactly why this session will be a do-nothing Congress (unless they intend to continue to support him...). If they hope to get anything done, they need to get rid of Bush and Cheney, else nothing will be accomplished. Bush will either veto everything relevant or issue signing statements which suspend the bits he doesn't care for.

Impeach them, evict them, and then ship him to Iraq to stand trial in Iraq for war crimes against humanity. Or just a simple lynching or stoning. If a few thousand Kurds got Hussein a noose, a few hundred thousand Iraqis ought to be good for several decades of not-torture first, followed by some viciously brutal slayings involving power drills, butter knives, and a diseased yak.

You know, something like what he's inflicted on Iraq. Especially the yak.
