Re: Another update

Well, John, I actually am not sure how to break this to you, I don't mean to be sarcastic, but there are somethings so incredibly irrational in this world such as us not wanting to believe or admit what is obvious that explaining them can only seem sarcastic. The truth is that Christianity is, just like any other segment of society, made up of human beings. I am not making excuses, right is right and wrong is wrong and never the twain shall meet (no middle ground, no shadow or variation in between right and wrong), excuses are evil, I am saying "Don't be shocked when you hear of someone who calls themselves a Christian being accused of wrongdoing", sometimes those accusations are true, sometimes they're meant to frame (defame) the individual, sometimes they're meant to destroy/attack the credibility of Christianity. The credibility of TRUE (PURE) Christianity cannot be DESTROYED, that would be like destroying the credibility of God (impossible). There are many people who think of themselves as Christian (they LIKE to CALL themselves Christian for their self-righteous ego), some have the honest intention of doing right by the creator AND the people, but learned the wrong way since childhood family (like me, many of my brethren do not agree with me, I do not walk by the book, I actually know suffering (GENUINE compassion from sorrow, rivers of living waters, tears John 7:38 and James 4:9). I've suffered 51 yrs. of suicidal depression. The reason I mention that is that so much of our behavior is determined by our fear of death (Hebrews 2:14 "...through fear of death were subject to lifelong bondage"). It's almost as though I have learned to look beyond death ("the flesh") and still be comfortable. I do not see evil under every rock, am naive about many operations of evil (schemes) except the little schemes that have been played on me all my life, but I have come to understand how so many legitimate (well intentioned) Christians would have a warped sense of right and wrong. There are also many ILLEGITIMATE (who only CALL themselves) Christians (for ego's sake) as if they were in competition with the Pharisees (Christian of the year award). Because I can now THINK beyond death, I can understand much about God, scripture and right and wrong that I couldn't before, I can also understand that it is the same with everyone, we were each given a measure of faith and understand according to that measure AND absolute morality (check MORAL PHILOSOPHY).

There are BOOK Christians (have no heart) and there are Christians AT HEART (which do you think is more pleasing to The Lord?). "Book" Christians do EVERYTHING by the book, they haven't been transformed by the renewal of their MIND (Romans 12:2, "...be transformed by the renewal of your MIND...").

I am not making excuses for anyone, just as in all groups, there are genuine, sincere, honest to goodness members, and there are insincere self-righteous members who only want to "jump on the bandwagon". I think it's obvious that the insincere do not have an outcome worth looking forward to, beyond that, I do not wish to comment on it simply because their outcome does not satisfy my heart (Let The Lord give serve their reward, I need not involve myself).

I used to keep track of what others do wrong, but love keeps no record of wrongs (especially since it does no good and can't prevent repitition, which is what really matters, and it's obvious to me now, that 98% of humanity does not AND cannot learn*), but it's mainly that keeping record doesn't satisfy the heart (this is the secret of Christianity,...THE HEART OF GOD). The heart of God cannot be found in any book, only among the child who remembers where we came from. Anyway, there's alot more evil in this world than comes from any media evangelists.

*Evil has a built-in requirement of stupidity that is uncanny/hypnotic (no matter how much education a person has, they must actually BECOME stupid, it is a requirement that needs to be satisfied in order that evil be committed). It has it's own self-perpetuating, delusional, self-persecuting, deceptive, misinformation and truth distorting, disguising ways of misguiding, destroying, damaging and mocking everything connected with goodness. It is a complete empire based on "the flesh" (our natural limitations Romans 6:19). The sixth day creation seems more of a threat to humanity than the enemy of creation, especially the many ways we choose to interpret the 66 books of the bible (it seems obvious that, through our cooperation, we implement the wishes of satan).

Mostly, I just don't know what to say about the wrongdoings of a person who says they're Christian, except that it will continue no matter how much of a fuss we make about it. Sorry!
