When it becomes a source of stress though it seems silly...It turns into an ego thing. I'm going to prove how smart I am because I have more formal education or I've read more books etc. Obviously it's not a no-brainer issue or virtually all interested/well informed people would agree, which of course they don't. It reminds me of these people you see on the news who go to an abortion rally and the opposition shows up. What can they possibly think this will accomplish? When the other person has no more interest in rethinking things than you do why bother? Agnostic is the way to go.
