Anyone having been treated by somebody in the healthcare field would certainly be aware that the propensity for healthcare workers to abbreviate their written word is yet another manifestation that speaks to the collective culture of the healthcare industry and the spectrum of people that comprise it having been trained, educated and well-conditioned in very specific ways to go through their life in an abbreviated manner; they speak abbreviated, act abbreviated and think abbreviated. In this light it's no real surprise when seeing them acting towards their fellow patients in abbreviated forms. Tweet
