I just wanted to add.. I read that oil should NOT be held in the mouth for 20 minutes - it can be held in the mouth for 5 minutes, and then spit it out and get a new tbsp of oil to swish for another 5 minutes. The oil helps to expell toxins, but holding it in your mouth for 20 minutes can make the toxins be reabsorbed by the body.
