TCM after cleanses- a good idea?

I have been getting acupuncture in the ear, I have had insomnia, constipation and bad moods for a long time, so much so that I am so tired all the time and my vision is now hazy with all these floaty things everywhere. I said to the practitioner that I suspected my liver and when he tested he said that it was. I also have a black line on my right big toe where the liver meridian passes. I have stopped seeing this guy as I have to pay him lots of money and i am a bit broke at present. I plan to do the cleanses to get rid of parasites and clean me up. I was going to wait till after this and find a practice of TCM. Could the Liver Cleanses help with this situation and is TCM a good approach??
