It does appear that zeolite is used in industry to adsorb orders and filter water etc. But I agree - how can you get any unbiased info about it's use in the human body, when everyone with any information is trying to sell it.

How about this - aren't there self administered mercury tests you can do at home?
If so - do they have the ability to indicate the amount of Hg being eliminated in the urine? You could do a before and after. I'm hearing claims of increased Hg elimination by a factor of 40. That should be testable.
