Re: Trying to spit glass out of mouth

Glass itself is a symbol of Truth (because it leaves nothing hidden). Pieces of glass indicate that some truth has been shattered and what we have now are just lies.

It is generally assumed that anything coming out of the mouth refers to words spoken. Trying to spit out broken glass would thus imply that your husband is in a position to do some lying – but he cannot do it (as the glass won’t come out) The fact that he is aware that there is no blood in his mouth would suggest that his inability to produce lies causes him no harm. He makes no sacrifice being unable to lie.

On a more physical level of interpretation the scene can suggest that your husband may be in danger of swallowing some lies probably pertaining to the issue of food (because we assume that what we put in our mouth is food) There may be a thought of having eaten food that is a danger to him. But – has he in reality actually eaten glass? Note the dream has shown no actual food that might cause him to bleed or make a sacrifice.
