Trying to spit glass out of mouth

My Husband has had this dream about 7 times. Last night I could hear him trying to clear his throat and coughing. He said he was having the dream again. He has broken glass in his mouth/no blood and is trying to spit it out but it won't come out. Any idea what this means? Tweet
