I do this:

I take a pan of water and put a small fan behind it, to this water I add a dropper of Oregano Oil nightly. Not as good, but I do it anyway, I use electronic plug ins that use frequencies to make creatures uncomfortable and they leave.

Keeping the house clean is first as well as keeping the body clean, I prefer a long bath prior to bed each night. If a person has a problem in their home, they may need to pitch all of their old stored foods and start over. Use peroxide, vinegar, borax, etc. as cleansers and if need be, buy a powerful ozonator and leave it on as long as it takes to kill everything in the house, mould and all, then air it out and return.

I would suggest daily internal oregano to keep the critters from wanting you for lunch.
