I am altogether very susppicious of anyone recommending Uriflow. A kidney-stone is VERY serious. If you want to dabble in alternative medicine I suggest dabbling with lighter issues. I wanted Uriflow to work. Really I did. But it was a waste of precious time and money. An earlier poster mentions a stint. It's called a stent my friend. And yes you were wise to turn it down. It is crude and painful. Finally...I once again recommend the following. If you THINK you have a kidney stone. See your doctor and get an abdominal X-RAY. Also known as a KUB Xray (cheap). If this does not show anything then get a CT scan if you have blood in your urine. Any Dr. will want to make sure you don't have cancer. Bladder, Kidney and Prostate cancer can all cause blood in the urine and they will test for all three. Prepare to be probed. Finally, if your stone does not pass on it's own, opt for the ESWL. See a doctor who performs ESWL all day every day. And most important!!! Get health insurance. If you don't have any you might as well break out the ginsu set and a leather belt.
