Re: veil

Angie,
I think what cerasela wrote you is true. I think that the fear sometimes comes from other people around you not accepting it as "normal" and things that are not happening to others are sometimes scary to ourselves. It is really good to have this forum so others can tell you that this is also happening to them and they understand. Embrace what you have and look at it as a positive. I learned alot from reading all of Sylvia Brown's books. Some people say she is a fake, but most of the things she says in her books make sense to me so it doesn't matter if she is fake or not- I just benefited from them.

My stepmom (who raised me) is pyschic. She could see the future and read our minds and would see spirits often. She never told anyone outside of our family because she thought other people would think she was strange. Because I grew up with this, I know that it is true and can be a wonderful thing.

My son has always seen spirits. When he first started talking about them people would say that it was wierd and that I should discourage him from this, but the truth is that all of us are born with this and block the ability because of the discouragment. I encourage him and teach him how to not fear it. I tell him to pray and surround himself with the white light of the holy spirit and tell the scary ones to leave him alone. It works for him.

The problem I have is...
Two years ago I woke up one day with a very wierd feeling and throughout the day I constantly saw cars coming towards me and hitting me, so I took the rest of the day off work (I drove alot for my job) and only left the house because I had to pick up my son from daycare. On the way I felt it very strong and I said out loud "Please God, not with my baby in the car" and then the next light I was hit by a man running a red light. It was an accident that was a life altering accident and now everytime I see something in my mind I freak out thinking that it will happen and don't know when to trust the feelings- I stay on the safe side and trust any bad feelings.

Anyway, just wanted you to know that so many people have the same experiences as you and to share it with only the people you trust. Accept it, embrace it and learn about it in anyway you find helpful.
