Ah, but without the feminist movement, this would not be possible for these women.

Once you are sitting in a big, corporate boardroom, and see how those women pay for their little piece of pie, I think that would open your eyes. The hierarchy is still predominately male, in almost every industry. The woman that do make it have to completely change their lifestyles to have what men take for granted. You haven't lived until you look in the face of your vice president, and see his disappointment that you are pregnant. Then, god forbid you need to take time off after that for childhood illnesses....you find out very quickly, you are not one of the boys.

What did you say women can do? Sounds like peanuts, especially if you want to make it in mainstream american business. That's where the real discrimination is.

I'm on hiatus. 20 years corporate executive. 6-figure salaries, in huge corporate american companies. I had it all. And it made me sick. That's why I found curezone. Now I stay home with the kids...for awhile at least. So, SS, don't talk to me about the glass ceiling...I've hit my head on it, and just got bruised. Now that's more personal life than I'd ever thought I'd share with you.
