Great post. Enjoyed your others. Liked the link on unwanted children, as that is how they are treated no matter what country they are born in, except in the US they look better on the outside while they suffer internally.

Most of the anti-abortion (pro-life) people project their own feelings about themselves on to the fetuses. Someone posted that it would be good if the fetus could vote on whether or not it should be extermined.

These same people would be against any fetus rights if the fetus spoke up (and disagreed). The civil rights of the fetus would come to an end quickly if the fetus did not vote their way. It would have to end this way because they are not interested in any (interpretable) signals from the fetus that are disagreeable.

They are happy to make ONLY ASSUMPTIONS about what a fetus might say or signal. They are not happy for the prospective parents (or 2 unmarried individuals) over their right of self-determination to decide how they want to run their lives.

All the crying in public they do (over dead protoplasm), the mixing up of statistics on abortion and all the fake guilt is a facade for some other agenda. They follow each other along unthinkingly (whether Democrat, Repupblican, right or left). They don't care about an individual's (male or female) right to self determination. Nor the fetus's.

I feel it's about controlling the unspoken words of the fetus in order to control something else and why this debate will continue to have a life of its own, ad infinitum.
