Re: im geeked DAY 5!
Well i did the water for first day all day and the second day most of it just around 8pm i started to get hungry and i almost ate junk food and pigged out so i juiced some carrots..
From then on I have been the
juicing fool.. lol everything from garlic. to yams to a wide variety of fruits to broccoli, cabbage etc.
Im drinking water throughout the day with lemon/lime/cucumber wedges to keep myself hydrated and also to flush out the toxins and keep my body alkaline. and of course i squeeze a little each of the juice in the water and put in a pitcher in my fridge for the day.
Right now im just going with my gut. Currently i only had 2 glasses of juice today. I was mainly in the mood for sweet fruity things. Yesterday i had 3 glasses of juice.. one in the morning that consisted of fruits (along with carrot) combo and same with lunch. Dinner I used tomatoes, cucumber, green onions, cabbage, etc. with a dash of pepper on top. it subsided my need for "dinner" lol
I also drank Senna Tea last night to help movement.. its more of an organic laxative drink... but it helps right now.. cause in many diet changes or fasting you tend to get constipated.
colonics would be best but are pricey. This helps with some relief anyways.
So in short i will drink an all day water probably tommorow. So i will have Monday and Thursday being my all water days. Not sure though if im going to do 2 yet.. but like i said i just go with how i feel.. the less i restrict the better i do. I didnt even know i was going to be taken down the path of juice fasting! it just happened.
I had this today as my "fruity" meal it was awesome!
1/4 Pineapple
2 Oranges (sweet to the taste)
1/2 Sweet Potato/ or Yam
Juice all together
Chill in the fridge for up to 1/2 hr just to get cold and icy on top
it tasted like i was cheating! it was great. The sweet potato gave it that creamy appeal.
It helped with my "icecream" craving. You could also make this and put it in the icecube tray and freeze to suck on.
I also earlier had this craving today for exotic foods like asian.. so i added ginger in my juice this morning.. but you only need to juice a little!!!
im going to try and water days on thursday and mondays. all other days juice. in about a week im going to start implementing light excercise. like walking on my dusty treadmill! lol
