I apologize so saying anything bad about Atkins,it's helped me lose about 100lbs. when I first started, but I can'tlose anything and I've been on the fat Fast part of the diet now for 3 days. I've only lost 2lbs. from it. It really is a great diet to be on , "If you know how to do it right." (The Atkins Diet).

I keep straying towards the induction phase everytime I reintroduce a new carb to my body, I gain a lot of weight. I don't know why this happens, but I have been doing that same thing (straying back to induction phase) for 9 yrs. That can't be health for anyone.

If I'm on a Fat Fast right now,do I stillhave to do a gallbladder flush? The fat fast is about 90% fat. I am suppose to do it for 5 days. Should I stop now?
I just thought it would be great to lose a few lbs. before I start the water fast.

Should I do one jus incase?
Should I also do a liver flush?

Or just the Water Fast and the gallbladder flush and the rest of the good stuff for when I become better at this fasting stuff.
Does the gallbladder flush hurt? I saw the pictures of what's coming out and it looks like it hurts. Does it?

If I did a gallbladder flush would it cause harm to my body if it's clean?
Also, if I did one should I do it before or after the water fast?

I'm sorry. When I first heard about the diet it was 9yrs. ago and my best friend told me about, but she never said anything about the other phases of the diet which is why I kept going back and forth to the induction phase. I finally got the book about a year ago, thinking I knew everything there is to know about it.
I was sooo shocked and consider myself a great example why when someone wants to start something new, they should know it beofre they try it.
Kind of like knowing the facts before oyu say something, that's exactly what my friend did years ago.
