Re: Tired of failing all the time
Thank you so much for responding to this.
I really do want to get off of the Low carb kick i've been on for so many years.
It actually took me about 1 month ago to start having a normal bowel movement after 3 years. I have had to take many things to get me to go.
Up until a month ago I was taking laxatives regularly to keep going and I would take it about 2x a week. Sometimes once a week, but that however was seldom.
I tried eating normally about 3 months ago...I mean eating healthy fibers and fruits and actually gained 7
lbs. from it and then I got really upset and started back on Induction phase with Atkins (20grams or less carbs).
You said that it would be great for my body to except the carbs after the water fast. Will I gain weight after the
Water Fast if I watch what I eat? I love salads, fruits all types good food and I think that from being on this for so many years it has almost enlightened my healthy habits, I know it's hard to understand that part.
I never knew how to get off of the "STUPID" diet in the first place.
There are ways to eat healthy on it, but I never got past that part. "STUPID ME!"
How do I go about eating after the fast is over, I don't really want to screw this up?!! I would like to be able to eat Very Healthy and not gain the weight back.
Can you give me an example of like what the first week of eating will be like?
E.g.... flax muffin with a sliced apple. Will that be too much for my body to handle?
Do we actually eat regular meals after this, meaning 3 meals a day?
Or do we start out with maybe one meal and then the following day we have two meals.
Do we keep the calorie intake down?
Please help me, I really want to be healthy again.
I haven't really had a lot of carbs for a long time and just want reasurrance that I will be able to eat like my body is supppose to when I am done.
I am sorry that I rambled on, I am just so excited about all of this.
I kept telling my husband about it and he said that it was not healthy.
It wasn't until last night when I started telling him and reading articles from this website when he realized that it will probably be the best thing we have ever done in our lives.
Please reply to this as I really enjoyed your last reply and can not thank you enough for your thoughts and encouragement.
Warm Regards,
Ivana
