Re: Endometriosis

Hi Concerned Mom,

I couldn't say for sure if the endo is completely gone in my case or not. My cycles are so greatly improved that it wouldn't surprise me. The only definitive way to know is to have another laporoscopy which there is no reason to do in my case. Most 'experts' claim that endo is a chronic illness with no cure, only remission...I'm not convinced of that. The adhesions that form as a result of the inflammation from endo, as well as surgeries, can cause pain and other complications, too...so it can often be hard to tell just what's causing what.

The lifestyle changes I have made have been healthy ones, so if I were to revert back to my old habits I would likely develop some dis-ease...if not endo then something else. The natural 'treatments' that I currently use (herbs and natural progesterone cream) not only benefit any symptoms from endo, but are also very beneficial for my endocrine system, so I would continue them regardless of endo being present.

Here is the link for the Endometriosis Association. They offer a wealth of information and support, including local chapters throughout the US. Hopefully your daughter will benefit from this information.

Kind regards,
Pam
