Re: Healing, Catabolism and Water Fasting
I have really been inspired by your posts Lynne. We are the same age, so I feel we can relate on several levels. Your testimony of faith also speaks volumes. You mentioned depression. I have been plagued with
Depression most of my life, on two separate occasions I have taken antidepressent drugs, but I hate those. When I did my second Master Cleanse fast last September I was hard hit with serious depression. It really scared me. This is one factor that worries me about
Water Fasting for more than a few days. Did you experience any symptoms during your fast? If so, how did you handle them?
Did you do any preparation before you began your fast? I am going to take Mike's advice and follow a clean diet for 4-6 weeks before fasting. Its hard to do after going completely "off the wagon" during the holidays, plus I have a church dinner coming up Sunday. Its hard to eat a healthy meal at an old fashioned Baptist dinner on the grounds :) At any rate its hello veggies and goodbye pizza.
I am hoping this cleaner diet and the
Water Fast will help ease this chronic pain, I've had it for almost two years. Medical doctors couldn't help, in fact I'm not sure they believed me. My Chiropractor/Naturopath has worked miracles, but the pain keeps coming back. He thinks there is an issue like a compromised immune system that is preventing healing.
Liver Cleanses and bowels cleanses plus three Master Cleanses have all helped,at least I can work now while a year ago I could barely function. I am hoping a
Water Fast will help in the healing process. Any weight loss, spiritual awakenings or emotional healing will be welcomed; but I am searching for relief from pain plus the fatigue and
Depression that comes with it.
