Re: Starting a juice fast (#3)

Hi! Thanks for asking! My juice fast is not going well at all.

I did something foolish last night. I have a two part juicer (titration and hydraulic press). Its an older machine, with one power switch for both parts. The first part has a sharp 6 pt. cutter that spins VERY fast, but is inside the feed tube. The tube was dripping on the counter so I took it off (and forgot to take the cutter off.) When I turned the machine on for the press, the cutter started spinning and throwing carrot pulp EVERYWHERE.

That was stupid enough, but my instinct was to block the mess with my hands! DAH!!!! I now have a few bandaged fingers, and will NEVER take the tube off unless the cutter comes off at the same time! I won't forget that lesson in a hurry!

Anyways, I "salved" my feelings once I doctored up my fingers. That big hunk of cheese was SOOOOO good. Now I'm going to have a fruit smoothie, and then start the juice only again at dinner time tonight.
