To do a juice fast safely, there's a lot to know! It's possible to OD on juices.
Don't drink more than 4oz at a time, and no more than 3-4 servings a day. Be sure to vary the juices, and it's important for you to know whether you can tolerate tomatoes. For me, tomatoes are poison. I get so sick after eating a tomato-based sauce it isn't even funny! So no more tomatoes for me.
It's perfectly okay to drink the lemonade drink from the
Master-Cleanse during a juice fast. It's still a juice fast, just lemon juice instead of veggie! :)
I personally get better results when I do veggie juice/veggie broth along with the MC. The enzymes and minerals added to what the maple syrup has really helps me cleanse faster and keep my energy up so I can go to work and be productive. I find I get much fewer cravings too. I'm on day 2 of an Ultimate Cleanse (MC plus P&B shakes plus Juice) and doing great! I'm even able to bake cookies for my family and not feel deprived! (I'll be freezing some of the dough tho, for later LOL!)
