I am so sorry to hear that!! I hope that you are OK.

I think that the advice is still somewhat the same. Find a place of peace, to the best of your ability, and perhaps if he has a chance to see you moving a different direction while still being sweet, loving and kind, he will perk up and realize the truth (whatever that is in your situation).

It's so hard when they are feeling trapped in their own circumstance - he probably isn't feeling good about his own financial situation/future and that is bleeding over into the relationship. Don't you think?

p.s. I always feel that it's best NOT to go on and have another relationship with someone else right away. Not only are you on the rebound, but you really don't know yet if he will come around even if you return to the states. Time will tell! Tweet
