Is my boyfriend cheating?

I've been with my boyfriend for over 2 years but lately I have become suspicious that either he is cheating on me or might cheat on me.

He has women that call him but he won't tell me who they are. He has always been very private but has never really given me a reason to distrust him. He says I don't know them and they are just friends that he has had for years, but then I wonder why I can't meet them. He says that I talk to much and never know what I am going to say to embarass him. He is Jamaican and I am American... we live in Jamaica. I have lived here for 4 years and realize the culture is different. He had a women call the other night and he spoke to her right next to me and seems to talk in codes.. so I don't know what he is talking about. He says things like.. if that's what you want to do and sounds upset like she is upset. I don't know what to think.

He gets upset that I pry and ask too many questions. I feel so insincere about the relationship.

He is with me almost all the time and every night... but I don't want to be naive. My friend tells me to trust my intuition but my intuition has never been very good. However my girlfriend does think i ask too many questions and should give him more space.
