I don't heat it but room temperature at my house is 80 degrees (South FL) and also my coconut oil is liquid so that helps. Maybe you could gently heat the coconut oil till it liquifies. Actually I have the opposite problem. Mine is TOO liquid so it tends to separate and I have to stir it a few times as it sets up. I try to prechill it so it blends better! I sure wouldn't want to heat raw honey though.
If your blender is too wussy to blend honey and oil I believe I'd get a better blender! ;)
