Laura,

You can gag maggots with the liquid Magnesium suppliments out there, especially the nasty, sweet, citrus-flavoured one. Try magnesium citrate in a powder (about eight or ten bucks for a 1# bottle at the vitamin shop, and not hard to find) or mag citrate capsules or tabs. It's all tasteless. You can stir it into most anything. You won't taste it.
