Re: Kefir makes me sick
Hmmm. You make a good point HippeeSandee (like the name, btw :-)
I think I'll try just take like 100mL or less a day for a month or so and see if I can handle that much.
I do indeed feel best when I continue obviously unhealthy practices such as an all-meat diet. When I start giving my body what it wants, I tend to get sick. Maybe I just gotta push through. It really messes up my work though.
Anyway, my plan is to just take a ridiculous number of probiotics. EM-1, fermented veggies, some prebiotic fiber and lignans, retueri.... I want to make the candida feel outnumbered. I was trying to kill it with antifungals and stuff, but it just doesn't seem to work. Even sporanox.
Thanks for the advice. Can I ask, how much Kefir do you think I should take to start and how should I scale it? Should I "ripen" it for several days before consumption to reduce the lactose? This is what I generally do, although alcohol content increases I think.
Btw, I am not Asian. Yakumo is the name of my favourite anime character from 3x3 Eyes :-) I don't have a problem with dairy in general (I can tolerate endless amounts of cheese and lots of whey protein).
