Over the years I have read tons of research, testimonies, and articles about soy and soy products. It is confusing because soy products are not equal to the raw soy extract. My final decision has been to stay away from soy. It affects hormones, especially not good for men. It is not easily digestible, causing bowel problems. It also can contribute to weight gain as it does with farm animals. Green tea, which I think is derived from some soy plant, might be the only form I would accept. Soy is in almost everything in the form of lecithin, a fat emulsifier. Its hard to escape from soy. I used to drink soy shakes years ago and got constipated and gained weight. That's just my obersvations. Others may not agree.
