Yes, that's my belief as well. Blind tests are what is really going to solve this issue. For now I am content to test each innovation one by one to see if there's a perceptible difference. Trouble is, some of the improvement might have happened anyway over the normal course of a zapping.
Of course, it is slightly ironic that we are testing and debating the *relative* benefits of zappers when the MD community has not even evaluated whether they are effective in the first place. Not to defame them or anything, but it sounds like willful ignorance to me on their part.
