Sure it's possible, just use artificial sweeteners instead of sugar. Same as making meat free hotdogs out of artificial meat substitutes or Tofurkey or eating "diet pork rinds." It's like spray painting pretty gold paint on dog doo, yeah you can make it look good... The point is, you're starting with something that's intrinsically bad on several levels.
I agree with the above poster. Why start out your child with outdated harmful traditions of sugary "treats?" Why not start a new tradition more in keeping with your nutritional beliefs? Babies aren't jaded yet and don't know any different. For example, a carved Watermelon "bowl" filled with juicy fresh fruit would be just fine in their eyes and would sure be a lot better for them. Plus they would enjoy using their fingers to eat it.
