i agree with you... the bible has definately been bastardised. (can I use that word here?) just look at ALL the different versions! I bet everon here follows a different version of the bible! Look at all the foot notes? Can one possibley imagine God adding footnotes to His Word? That is ridiculous! Christian scholars agree that the bible is NOT in its original form. Even history points to the catholic church for denying access to the original scripts and destroying what they didnt want people to learn.

Following the basic commandments of God is pure and simple And you dont need to be in some kinda "religion" to do that.

I dont get what you mean by is God insecure?
