Why do you insist on putting up these straw man arguments? You keep trying to put words in my mouth so you can argue against them. You also continually engage in ad hominem attacks, another logical fallacy. And I've got a good verse for you too: 1 Timothy 6:4.
You must understand that this whole subject came up originally from a Mormon perspective. Like most cults, they try to allow God's written Word to be changed or opposed to excuse some unbiblical concept. Terminology can be very deceptive. For example, what a person means when they say "I accept Jesus as my savior" can be either very Biblical or very diabolical. To one person it means what the Bible teaches, and to another it means they believe Jesus is just another prophet or manifestation of godlikeness.
I never back away from a legitimate and respectful debate, but I won't continue to wallow in this mud-wrestling contest. If you just want to defame somebody you'll have to choose a new victim. But if you ever really want to sit down and discuss a Biblical topic in a civilized manner, just let me know. Your response to this will be very telling.
