Re: Old testament and New Testament question

Here is what Jesus Himself says about it: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." See Matt. 5:17, 18. Here it is clearly stated that when the law covenant reached its fulfillment, it would pass away. If you notice, He says, "I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill." To "fulfill" Mr. Webster says, is "To bring to a close, to finish." When Christ expired on the cross and cried, "It is finished," John 19:30, all things written of him were then fulfilled. See John 19:28. The law then came to an end and passed out just as Jesus said it would. For additional proof, see Galatians 3:24, 25; Gal. 4:22-31; Hebrews 8:6-13; Hebrews 10:9. "How much of this law passed out? Jesus says "ALL" of it did, every "jot" and every "tittle" of it, with nothing reserved.
