Word of Faith was:Re: The Gift of Tongues

I'm new to this forum but I am so blessed to be under the teaching of my pastor and I am in a "Word of Faith" church and we are taught straight from the word of God. I have learned more of what God says about me, my family, and how my life is to be HERE on this earth in the past two years than I ever did in denominational churchs, where I was raised. I have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and have grown so much closer to God. I guess I just wanted to point out that just like with any "denomination", there are some good and some bad; I've found that most Word Of Faith churches get a lot of flack because it is a responsible doctrine; I have to do something; I have a part to play in how my life turns out; I can't blame anyone, including God. When Jesus died he said, "It is finished". Now it's up to me; do I believe what HE said and did for me or not.
