Tongues?

I know that speaking in tongues is a gift from God[Holy Spirit], as a language for your spirt to communicate with God. A very special gift.

I also know that God can cause people to hear a message that is not being spoken in their native tongue, to be understood and communicated. That also is a gift.

What struck me when I watched the Passion of the Christ, was that the Aramic language [which is dead] sounds very much like someone speaking in tongues.
