Toonces, may I but in? I have a question...
I like what you have said. I often find myself looking up scripture to find the truth, and test 'teachers' on what they taught.
However, I was wondering something:
If we make it our number one goal, to be 'suspicious' then we can very quickly find ourselves being cynical and not trusting. Is that not a fine line? Where can we acheive balance?
I agree and see the truth in all scripture you have posted. But where is our trust in the Lord in all of this?
Toonces, I'm not trying to debate you, but understand you a little better. In a lot of your posts you come across as doubting any miracles. To me that is dangerous, because that can harm your faith. Especially when God performs a lot of miracles. Remember, He never changes.
If you can doubt miracles, do you also doubt salvation?
After all salvation is one of the greatest miracles of all. Some people that have been saved, used to be some of the 'worlds' most hopeless cases..[me included]. However, through a miracle we have received Jesus into our lives, and therefore are saved.
Can you help me to understand a little better?
Thanks! :o)
