Re: Who all eat porridge?

it is yummy just had a bowl. the amts vary depending on how much you want to make. it is usually on me eating it for bkfast. anyway, you put oats and water at 1:3 ratio (1cup oats to 3 cups water). I usually add 1 cored apple, 1-2 tbsp each of grd flaxseed and wheat germ, with some stevia, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Needs to cook for 8-10 hours. You can get as creative as you like. You could add some dried fruits, spices, and other grains. I have heard it isn't a good idea to use milks in slow cooker overnight, but I don't think a little would matter. Hope this helps. Let me know what you think????
