I love any porridge! Mostly I buy whole grains (barley,buckwheat,miller,semolina,rice,etc) and cook it on milk as it supposed to be but with no time I use Irish Oatmeal by McCann's.
Sorry to say, can't used to Quaker's. I think it's nasty half processed product. My father-in-law didn't believe me until I cooked once Irish and once whole grains for him. I cook grains on water only if it's a side dish for meat but morning deal is on milk (unless like today I am ready for Liver Flush and didn't use milk)
