Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately, since I'm doing the candida/Body Ecology diet, all the foods you mentioned are off limits right now. I would just wait to do this flush until I'm a couple more months into the diet, but it's sort of a scheduling thing - this was a good weekend to get some time off to recover if need be. I have been making smoothies with home-made kefir, a little cranberry juice, some powdered green food and occasionally some Goatein, although I think the protein in the goat milk powder isn't supposed to be taken with carbs. Oh well, close enough. I've been getting the kefir from the deli at a local health food store, and I will have to ask them if they use nonfat milk. I kind of doubt it. I think you are right about the meat taking too long to digest. I'm also going to push the whole thing ahead a couple of hours, since there's no way I can go to sleep as early as 10:00. I am going to try to be asleep by 12:30/1:00, though, since I think 1-3 is "liver time" in Chinese medicine.
