Hi Anja,
I'm starting the flush today. I'm thin, but tend to eat allot because of still actively breastfeeding my 12 month old. I usually eat protein and fat with every meal because my body thrives best this way. I had the same question you did. I ate a high protein and fiber whole grain bagel this morning, and have been drinking plenty of water. Later, I ate some whole grain pancakes with maple syrup and fresh blueberries. There was only miniscule amounts of fat in these, and I still felt hungry and unsatisfied. I definately wasn't used to eating a meal without protein and fat, and was concerned about being very hungry later.
So, I made a smoothie with fat free yogurt and fresh banana and blueberries. I drank about 8 ounces of this, and felt MUCH better, and full also. So, with my lunch, I'm going to eat vegetables, whole grains, and the rest of the yogurt smoothie. This will still be a fat free meal, but I think the protein in the yogurt is a big help.
I had wondered about some sort of fat free meat, but then thought that meat takes longer to digest. I'm no expert, but thought this idea might help you with finding a way in your situation. I'll be posting my results.
On page 11 of the forum, you can find my question on diet and Bethdogg's reply. She said you can drink applejuice after 2 pm., which is what I will be doing.
