Dog and Cat Dream

Hi Everyone,

Before I started reading the dream forum, I had always thought my dreams were just jibberish, I never could make anything out of them, but now I try to make a conscious effort remember them. Early this morning about 4:00am I had avery vivid dream about our family pets, the ones we had when I was a kid, a Dauchsund and a calico cat. I don't know what they were doing in this dream because my husband was with me here and we don't have any pets. Anyway, in the dream, I'm grown up and with my husband. We seemed to have been gone for some time and had come home to find our pets laying on the carpet sleeping side by side and they seemed like they could hardly move, they could hardly get up. I said to my husband,"oh my, we forgot to get someone in to feed and water the pets while we were gone". Wierd so far I know...So I rushed into the kitchen and got each of them a bowl of water to which they drank all and they were still thirsty so I ran to get more. Then, they seemed happy to see us and then the cat and dog started to lick each others faces. Bizarre Yes?.... Anybody have a clue what this could mean?
